Dr. Wilfred Tam is a board-certified urologist and highly experienced, multifaceted surgeon specializing in oncologic and reconstructive pelvic floor surgery, men’s and women’s health, and non-surgical aesthetics.
Dr. Tam completed his medical training at Western University in 2005 and his urology residency at the University of Toronto, with advanced training in pelvic reconstruction, oncology, and men’s and women’s health. He is also experienced in cosmetic medicine, including injectables, laser and energy-based aesthetic treatments.
As Medical Director of TPS Wellness Centre, Dr. Tam provides medical oversight across our male and female wellness, hormone, and advanced MedSpa services. His surgical background and expertise in anatomy, precision procedures, patient assessment, and surgical safety provide a strong foundation for this role. Dr. Tam has pioneered the combination of energy-based devices with GLP-1 medications, nutritional and hormonal optimization as part of a medically supervised weight-loss program.
Dr. Tam has received specialized FUE training under the guidance of Dr. Stephen Mulholland, a highly experienced cosmetic plastic surgeon and recognized expert in hair restoration. He also brings many years of experience with non-surgical hair loss treatments and procedures, including PRP, Alma TED, and exosome therapy.
This combination of surgical expertise, specialized FUE training, and extensive experience with non-surgical hair restoration gives our hair program a comprehensive medical foundation.
